Accessibility
The Rose Playhouse is committed to making our site as accessible as possible.
Access to the site is step free.
The space has low levels of lighting to protect the archaeology and conservation regime. Staff can assist visitors who need help navigating the low lighting.
We have space for one wheelchair for use during ticketed on-site events. Please let us know when you book if this will be required.
Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome.

ALL EVENTS AND OPEN DAYS
The Rose is an indoor archaeological site, so it is advisable to dress warmly in colder weather because there is no heating. Fleece throws are available from our volunteers to help keep you warm during events.
There are no toilets on-site, but you can use those at Shakespeare’s Globe, which is 200 metres away.
ALL TICKET HOLDERS
Please check in at the Box Office upon arrival. For Concessions or Membership tickets, please bring proof of age, your Membership card or proof of address as a Southwark resident. If you do not have your ticket with you, we will need proof of identity (e.g. a credit card).
