YOUR VISIT

We look forward to seeing you at a performance or event at The Rose, but please take note of the following:

All ticket holders: Please check in at the Box Office upon arrival.  There is easy access and space for one wheelchair, so it would be helpful if you can let us know when you book if this will be required.

For Concessions or Membership tickets, please bring proof of age, your Membership card or proof of address as a Southwark resident.  If you do not have your ticket with you, we shall require proof of identity (e.g. a credit card).

Performance information:  Most performances run 90 minutes without an interval.  If you need to leave during the performance we cannot guarantee that you will be able to return to your seat, although we will do our best to accommodate you.   Seating is unnumbered.  There is a  small cash bar for wine, beer and soft drinks which may be taken into the auditorium.

All events and Open Days:  The Rose is an indoor archaeological site; it is advisable to dress warmly because there is no heating. There are no toilets, so please use those at Shakespeare’s Globe, which is 200 metres away.

For safety reasons, no bag measuring more than 40cm x 35cm x 19cm (large handbag / laptop bag) will be permitted on the site.  Nearby bag-drop facilities can be found with Stasher, BagBnB or Luggage Hero.
