Visit the The Rose Playhouse to explore period costume, archaeology and performance with our trained volunteers and watch a short film narrated by Sir Ian McKellen.

Your donation will contribute directly towards the completion of The Rose Revealed Project that will ensure the full excavation and conservation of The Rose site and create a permanent exhibition and theatre space, with proper visitor facilities.
THE ROSE IS IN PARK STREET AND THE ENTRANCE IS IMMEDIATELY WEST OF (AND ADJACENT TO) SOUTHWARK BRIDGE.
The Rose is an indoor archaeological site, it is advisable to dress with an extra layer as there is no heating. There are also no toilets so please use Shakespeare’s Globe just a few hundred metres away.
