Please join us on Monday, 29 June at 6 pm, for the first meeting of the "Martext online” workshops, where we read aloud an hour's worth of a play (continuing it in the next session) and then after a short break we workshop knotty bits of staging to see how playing in full light in the round changes actor–audience relationships and performance choices, and therefore how we interpret the plays.
This Zoom meeting will be with "Friar Bacon and Friar Bungay" by Robert Greene, the Salieri of Elizabethan drama. The course of true love, a green-eyed monster, some magic and the antics of the Brazen Head! Not to be missed!
Bring your own drink. Expect the unexpected!
To book your free place, please email email@example.com.
See you there!

The Rose is an indoor archaeological site; it is advisable to dress warmly because there is no heating. There are no toilets, so please use those at Shakespeare’s Globe, which is 200 metres away.
