FIVE brand new pieces, written and rehearsed in just 24 hours, in response to a news article affecting women from that week. Writers will receive their stimulus and the actors they are writing for at 9am on Friday 26th May. They then have until 8pm that day to submit their piece. Directors will then meet a cast of two, three or four actors on Saturday 27th May. In just four hours they will then stage their piece. All five will then be presented as script in hand staged readings at 7.30pm.
The Rose is an indoor archaeological site, it is advisable to dress with an extra layer as there is no heating. There are also no toilets so please use Shakespeare’s Globe just a few hundred metres away.
