October 21, 2019 - March 2, 2020
Please note: During the winter, Alleyn walking tours can only be arranged for groups of 10 or more by application to info@roseplayhouse.org.uk.
Join us for a walking tour all about the extraordinary life of Edward Alleyn, the principal actor at The Rose Playhouse in the 16th Century.
Amble along the streets of London with our knowledgable volunteer, visiting the site of Alleyn's playhouse and learning about Tudor theatre practice. The 2-hour tour will start at Moorgate Underground station and end at Farringdon Underground station, via theatre sites in the Barbican and Clerkenwell, as well as the office of the Master of the Revels. And for the Bard fanatics amongst you, there's some Shakespeare thrown in there too for good measure!
Dates: Mondays, as follows:

Time: 2.00pm (We encourage participants to arrive early to ensure the tour starts on time.)
